Like Fish on the deck they be.

Something I've never understood about the republican party is it's member's flipflopiness on matters. I don't mean they change their minds a lot, but rather, they seem to have completely different standards in arguments on different topics.

For example, this lovely women: [link]
has a never ending hatred of the government 'interfering with her parental rights', which is fine, but at the same time, she's also greatly opposed to abortion, and the right for a parent to choose. In this matter, the unborn fetus has more rights, or at least, rights over the rights of their mothers; yet, when they're born, children, at least of the male sort, have part of their body cut off, and are forced to live under the yoke of their parent's ideologies. Why is it that a mother can't abort a fetus she doesn't want, but a child doesn't get a chance to decide whether or not he wants to be circumscribed?

Or for that matter, why is it that children are forced into whatever religion their parents want them to be?

I find it strange, very strange, that anyone could promote the rights of something in one breath, condemn them in the next, and then scream blue murder when someone tries to interfer with their so called rights as parents.

To be honest, the most amusing thing about this whole Conservatives diatribe about rights, be it child, mother, parent, or government, is that they seem to fail to realize that 'rights' are nothing more then liberal deceit; they don't really exist, they where invented by left wing philosophers shortly before the French revolution; a highly left wing affair all around.

Ahaha, that's amusing. You should've posted something like that back in the days of the Great Canadian Wish List.

It's not just about choices, but also about the responsibility to live with the choices we make. We make kids, we are responsible for them. Who raises them as much as how they are raised. Our responsibility it to use our best judgment in their raising and not foist that job of on someone else no matter how qualified they claim to be.

Circumcised, not circumscribed. :P And interesting point.

I love your stamp for the message it portrays. The very reason I am pro-choice is that a born person does not have the right to use another's body against the other's will even if needed to live.

Very good point. I saw a satirical video about being ';pro-life' a few days ago, and it made me realize... these people aren't ';pro-life', they're really just 'anti-choice'.
